I go through a lot of these. Up here in New England they seem to outfish almost all other craw baits. The green pumpkin dragged and hopped on a 1/4 nose weighted TR hook just slays em.
The only downside is they're a bit fragile (the appendages often get nipped off pretty quickly)

I like using the little otter to flip around boat dock it has  a great action when falling and the bass eat it

I have been fishing the lil Otter for years ,its my go to bait and its always rigged with a Gambler pro brass Ratlin Weight. I have caught fish in water temps from 46deg. to 86 deg. clear, stained and muddy water nothing beets this bait, and wight combination.Try them and start catching fish.
